Using Femia

You may use Femia to store documents, designate recipients and verifiers, and configure waiting periods and check-in cadences. You may not use Femia to store or transmit unlawful content, to impersonate another person, or to interfere with the service for other users.

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials safe. If you suspect unauthorized access, change your password and write to [email protected] immediately.

What we promise

We will hold your documents and configurations as described in our Privacy policy. We will only release documents when the conditions you set are met. We will not release documents in any other circumstance, including a court order alone, without compelling legal process and notice to you or your estate.

What you should know about delivery

Femia is the delivery mechanism your recipients and verifiers interact with. For documents that benefit from legal weight, like a will or a power of attorney, we strongly recommend pairing Femia with a properly executed legal instrument and naming an executor. Femia does not provide legal advice and is not a substitute for an attorney.

Billing and cancellation

Paid plans renew on the anniversary of subscription. Cancel at any time from your account settings. Your vault and configurations remain available for export for thirty days after cancellation. After that, content is deleted from production systems and removed from backups within the next backup cycle.

Liability

We work carefully, but no service can promise zero failure. Our liability is limited to fees paid in the twelve months before any claim. This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law.

Changes to these terms

We will notify you by email and on this page before material changes take effect. If you don't agree with the new terms, you can export your data and cancel.
