What Femia holds, and what it refuses to.

What we collect
Your account email and name. The contents of any documents you choose to upload. The names, emails, and relationship labels for the recipients and verifiers you designate. The cadence of your check-ins. The audit log of every access, release, and verification event tied to your vault. Nothing else.
We do not collect browsing history, fingerprinting data, or third-party tracking identifiers. We do not run advertising trackers.
How we hold it
Everything moves over encrypted connections, and your documents and data are encrypted at rest on our infrastructure. For any individual file you can also set your own password to encrypt it end-to-end — the key is derived from that password on your device, so no one but you, not even us, can unlock it. Authentication uses industry-standard session tokens; passwords are hashed with scrypt and never stored in clear. Access to production systems is restricted to a small operational team under audit.
Cookies
Femia uses only strictly-necessary cookies. After you sign in, a single session cookie keeps you logged in as you move between pages; it is set only once you authenticate and carries no advertising or cross-site tracking identifier.
We run no analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies. Because the session cookie is essential to the service and nothing non-essential is stored on your device, browsing Femia needs no consent banner — we show a brief notice on your first visit simply so you know.
What we don't do
We don't sell or rent your data. We don't read the contents of your documents to train any model or recommend anything to anyone. We don't release a single file to any recipient without the verifiers you named, the waiting period you set, and the audit trail that records every step.
If Femia winds down
We commit to a documented export, with notice, so the people you chose still receive what you intended. Your decisions outlast us.
